We are recruiting "Radiology Technologist" for our client in New Mexico NM.

Position Overview

We are seeking qualified Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists – Computed Tomography (DRT-CT) to support Northern Navajo Medical Center (NNMC) in Shiprock, New Mexico.

The technologist will provide CT and diagnostic radiography services across inpatient, outpatient, Emergency Department, ICU, trauma, and surgical settings. The position requires strong clinical skills, current credentials, reliability, and the ability to work in a rural/underserved healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic CT scanning and plain-film radiography.
Support inpatient, outpatient, ED, ICU, and surgical patients.
Provide intraoperative and fluoroscopic imaging support.
Perform CT imaging in emergency and trauma situations.
Consult with radiologists, surgeons, and clinical staff regarding imaging protocols and patient care.
Complete patient records, imaging documentation, and EHR entries accurately and on time.
Follow radiation safety, infection control, quality assurance, and NNMC clinical protocols.
Maintain professional conduct and respect Navajo and American Indian/Alaska Native cultural practices.
Schedule

Primary Coverage:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, excluding federal holidays.

On-Call Coverage:
Weeknights, weekends, and federal holidays outside primary coverage hours.

On-Call Response:
Must be available to respond on-site within 2 hours of notification.

Additional personnel may be required for high-volume or trauma-related surge situations.

Required Qualifications
Current, valid, unrestricted ARRT Radiography (R) registration.
Current, valid, unrestricted ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) registration.
Compliance with applicable New Mexico licensing requirements.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum 2 years of clinical DRT-CT experience within the preceding 5 years.
Experience supporting trauma, surgical, ICU, and emergency patients.
Ability to operate required IHS IT systems, including the Electronic Health Record.
Credentialing & Clearance

Selected candidates must complete required pre-placement verification before beginning work, including:

Professional credential verification
Fitness-for-duty documentation
Background screening
Required immunization/health documentation
HSPD-12 security clearance, including fingerprinting and background investigation
Facility orientation and applicable security/IT requirements

No technologist may be placed on the coverage roster or perform services until required verification is completed.
