About Our Company:

Recruiting Hub International Ltd provides software consultancy, develops products for its own business and clients, and delivers round-the-clock live support.

We are the company behind RecruitingHub.ai, our internally developed recruitment technology platform. We are seeking an experienced IT Quality and Testing Professional to support our growth and strengthen the quality, reliability and performance of our software products.

About Our Product:

RecruitingHub.ai is a business-to-business recruitment marketplace that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to connect employers with recruitment agencies. The platform helps employers fill vacancies efficiently through a single contractual relationship, simplifying supplier onboarding, candidate submissions and recruitment administration.

Our aim is to make recruitment faster, easier to manage and better value for employers and recruiters.

About the Role

As an IT Quality and Testing Professional, you will take responsibility for planning, coordinating and carrying out quality assurance and software testing activities across our products and client projects.

You will work with business stakeholders, developers, technical support teams, vendors and end users to establish how software should behave, identify risks and verify that delivered solutions meet agreed requirements.

This is a practical role combining manual testing, test automation, defect investigation, data validation and continuous improvement. You will contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from reviewing initial requirements to evaluating release readiness and investigating issues reported after deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Planning and Requirements Review

- Review business requirements, user stories, specifications and existing workflows to identify gaps, ambiguities and potential quality risks.
- Participate in requirements discussions with clients, business teams and vendors, helping establish clear, measurable acceptance criteria.
- Develop test strategies, test plans, test cases, scripts and test data appropriate to each project.
- Maintain links between requirements, test cases and results so that agreed functionality has demonstrable test coverage.
- Estimate testing effort, coordinate resources and prioritise activities according to business impact, delivery deadlines and available budgets.

Software Testing and Automation:

- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, exploratory and end-to-end testing across web applications, mobile applications and supporting services.
- Design positive, negative and boundary test scenarios to assess both expected behaviour and failure handling.
- Develop and maintain automated tests for suitable, repeatable scenarios, reviewing failures and keeping test coverage aligned with product changes.
- Test APIs, integrations and data exchanges to verify correct responses, validation rules, error handling and consistency between systems.
- Use SQL to validate database records, investigate discrepancies and confirm that application transactions produce the expected results.
- Check reports and dashboards for accurate calculations, complete information and consistent presentation.
- Assess performance, reliability, usability, accessibility and compatibility against agreed requirements, coordinating specialist testing where appropriate.
- Verify access permissions, authentication flows and the handling of sensitive information against the product’s approved security requirements.
- Test employer and recruiter journeys, including vacancy creation, candidate submissions, recruitment workflows and AI-assisted matching features, against agreed business rules and expected outcomes.

Defect Management and Release Readiness:

- Identify, reproduce and document defects with clear steps, supporting evidence, expected outcomes and an assessment of business impact.
- Work with developers and other stakeholders to prioritise defects, clarify findings and track issues through to resolution.
- Retest fixes and carry out appropriate regression testing to check that changes have not disrupted existing functionality.
- Investigate recurring problems and contribute to root-cause analysis and measures that prevent similar defects.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing, support business users and record results, outstanding issues and acceptance decisions.
- Prepare test completion reports and release recommendations that explain coverage, unresolved defects and remaining risks.
- Support controlled checks following deployment and help reproduce issues reported by customers or technical support teams.

Reporting, Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:

- Communicate test progress, findings and delivery risks clearly to clients, technical colleagues and management.
- Provide daily or weekly progress updates through online meetings and written reports.
- Maintain testing documentation, defect records and evidence so that decisions and results remain traceable.
- Monitor testing milestones and dependencies, escalating issues that could affect delivery.
- Review testing procedures, tools and recurring support issues to identify opportunities to improve quality and reduce avoidable rework.
- Work closely with stakeholders and end users to ensure quality improvements address practical business needs.

Essential Skills and Experience:

- Substantial experience in software quality assurance and testing, with the ability to take ownership of testing activities from planning through completion.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing methods and defect management.
- Practical experience designing and executing manual tests and developing or maintaining automated tests.
- Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, APIs and integrated systems.
- Proficiency in SQL, advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau and related analytical tools.
- Ability to assess data accuracy, investigate unexpected results and explain findings clearly.
- Strong analytical and conceptual reasoning, supported by close attention to detail.
- Ability to translate requirements into effective test scenarios, including unusual inputs, exceptions and failure conditions.
- Experience preparing test plans, defect reports, progress updates and release quality assessments.
- Clear communication skills and the confidence to discuss quality risks with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong planning, organisation and time management, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment while collaborating effectively with colleagues, clients and vendors.

Qualifications and Additional Experience:

A computing or IT degree is advantageous but not mandatory.

The following would also be useful:

- A recognised software testing qualification or equivalent practical knowledge.
- Experience testing recruitment platforms, business marketplaces or other software with multiple user roles.
- Familiarity with evaluating AI-enabled functionality against defined acceptance criteria and representative test data.
- Experience integrating automated testing into software build and deployment processes.
- Experience with performance testing, accessibility evaluation or application security testing.

Working Arrangements:

Frequent client visits and occasional weekend work may be required according to project and operational needs.

You will be expected to coordinate effectively with colleagues, maintain visibility of progress and support the agreed delivery schedule.

What You Will Contribute:

Your work will help ensure that our software is dependable, meets business requirements and provides a consistent experience for its users. You will help teams identify problems earlier, make informed release decisions and improve the way quality is managed across our products and projects.

How to Apply:

Apply through RecruitingHub.ai with an up-to-date CV highlighting your software testing experience, technical skills and examples of improvements you have made to product quality or testing processes.
